Mortgage Room Character: Little Blue

Brief: Anything in finance can be a challenge to create an identity that feels warm or approachable. The Mortgage Room already had a long standing visual identity but they felt a character would really help add some personality to the brand and be more memorable in the eyes of their clients.

Cue Little Blue – Selected after many a brainstorm on which animal fit the bill we decided on a Little Blue Penguin. Native to New Zealand, family orientated, very hard working and house proud, and of course – super cute! There was some great connections between Little Blue and us as humans in terms of behaviour around home owning and our families. Little Blue is also friendly and approachable meaning he’s the perfect voice to soften some of those heavier, complicated subjects.
